Takken's Shoes is a family shoe business based in San Luis Obispo, California. In 1937, Harry Takken opened a small shoe repair shop in downtown San Luis Obispo, calling it Takken's.
Expansion began in 1987, and has continued throughout the 90's and into the new millenium. The face of Takken's has evolved and changed over the years, but the solid principals will always remain the same. Takken's goal is to become a dominant footwear retailer on the West Coast, while always remembering our small town roots.
